“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
― Mark Twain
My name is Kourtney Hopkins. I am a native of Earle, AR where I currently reside. I am a wife and mother to one son, in which I adore both immeasurably! God, and my family are top priorities in my life, and my aim is to keep it that way.
In December of 2012, I graduated from the illustrious University of Arkansas in Pine Bluff, where I obtained my B.S. in Biology. From there, I began my career in education, and haven’t stopped yet. I went on to complete all necessary coursework for the Masters of Teaching-Middle Level, earning a 4.0 grade point average. Currently, I’m enrolled in the MSE School Counseling Program at Arkansas State University and will be graduating December 2024. My goal as the career coach for EHS is to motivate, encourage and positively influence each student that I come in contact with, so that they’ll know that success is not an option. It is my objective to remain humble, relatable, and continue to build rapport with all students so that they’ll be empowered to be anything that they put their minds to.
